"blog assignment #18: Obama"

              Barack Obama is the first president from black desecent . Obama is the 44 president of the United States of America. His wife Michelle Obama is the first black first lady of the U.S. Obama has two children Meela and Shasha. He is  a democrat from Illinois. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 4, 1961.
             
             Obama went to Occidental college in Los angeles for 2 years. He transfered to Colomubia unversity in New York. He graduate in 1983 with a degree in polictal science. He attended harvard university in 1988. He graduated from harvard university in 1991.

              The family of Barack Obama is made of African American, English, Kenya, and Irish heratige. Obama's wife is first lady Michelle Obama. His wife is a lawyer and vice-president of unversity of chiago hospital. When Obama had got elected he got a dog for his family. Obama has one half-blood sister.

                Obama is from Illionis, Chicago . He is very good at playing basketball. One time when he was playing basketball he got elbowed in the face. Obama's grandmother died before his election. His father died in a car accident.
    
                 Obama lifed with his mother mostly as a child. His mother married another man after his father died. His mother died of Uterine cancer in 1995. His sisters name is Maya Soetoro. His grandfather is Stanley Duham.

 Blog # 17 : The comic Blondie is about the man and his wife. In the story his wife tells him that they ran out of candian bacon.The husband does not know what to do . The husband goes outside and visit the neighbor . He asks the neighbor can he borrow some bacon. They make a deal but the husband has to drive carpool for the neighbors next three turns. The purpose of this story was about funny decisions.

                   The comic Curtis is about a boy. A girl comes to his house wearing nothing but red. Curtis makes fun of the girl because of that. She tells Curtis that she will beat him up. The purpose of this story was to say things you are suppose to say. This also tells others to not mess with people.
                   
                    The Comic Dustin is about a guy named Dustin. Dustin is parking peoples cars for six dollars. His friend comes over and gives him a burger. She also says that the reason he business is not working out is because hes at WAL*MART . The comic is about make wise decisions.

blog # 16

 blog # 16 : Milton Hershey was born  on September 13, 1857. He dropped out of school in the fourth grade.
He was mass producer of  chocolate candy. He was a apprentice for Joseph Royer for four years. Hershey's first company was Lancaster Caramel Company.

                  After making caramel Hershey decided to start making milk chocolate. He made milk chocolate he own way. He began one of the largest manufacturing company's. Hershey product became the first nationally marketed product. After that he learned how to make milk into caramel.

                   Hershey made his own park in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The park was called Hershey park but ended up to Hersheypark. The park as many roller coasters and rides. The park is also family friendly to its community. Hershey has his own college and his own entertainment and resorts.

Blog Assignment #14-G.Muller

              Blog # 14: George Muller was born in Kroppenstaedt , near, Halber, in the kingdom of Prussia , on September 27,1805. When he was ten years old he took the goverments money which was entrusted by his father. He founded an orpan house near where he lived. He was a christain and a beliver God. He was a good man.

                               He is one of the founding fathers of the modern church world.
The name of the orphanage he founded was the Ashley Down orphanage. He gave christian education to over 120,000 children. He estabilshed 117 christian schools in Bristol, England. He also offered many Jews jobs at the orphanage.

                              My thoughts on George Muller is that he was a great christain man. He dedicated he life to others . He also dedicated his life to the work of God. He brought the word of God to others. He spread the gospel to the world.

blog assignment #13: Africa/Storytelling

Blog # 13: Wale Yade provides an insider look at the village ,the central social area of his village. Everyone who doesn't have to work hangs out at the ''Grand Place". Little kids also hang out at the Grand place.There are also animals like chickens there at the "Grand Place". There is shade there but men are only allowed to sit under it.

                Sileye Sall walks us through the process of praying. Sileye Sall pray five times a day,because religion is really important to him. He prays on a rug, because its apart of his religion. His religion is Senegalese muslim in his village. He must wash his hands everytime before he prays.
