Warm-Up: I wrote about games. I was mostly interested when i found out how many websites there were with games that anybody and everybody can play.



              Blog # 6: Apps I love apps there are thousands of apps.Apps can be found on Iphones , Ipods , Androids , Ipads,and etc.I have many apps on my Ipod like Angry Birds,and Cut the Rope. Apps are Applications,but most people call them apps. Apps are either free or you have to pay for them. I get my apps from Itunes. Apple started putting apps on thier devices first,before Android and other companies started using apps.

                                According to Network World.com the most downloaded free app is Facebook. Angry birds used to be the most downloaded app ever on the Appstore. Angry Birds is still the most played app on the Appstore and in the world. Android is getting more popular than the Appstore and will soon take over. I like Angry Birds and cut the rope the most, because these games are funny,exicting,and challening.

                                According to Wikipedia.com, the appstore started in July 10,2008 via an updated to Itunes.  January 18, 2011 the appstore had 9.9 billon downloads,at 10:28 am the 10 billonth app was downloaded. There 200 billion app users have downloaded over 15 billon apps off the appstore. The word "app" became the 2010 word of the year. 70% of the money goes to the publishers of the app, and 30% goes to Apple.
    
                                According to Android Market.com the most downloaded app for android is Google maps. The top paid app for android is Madden 12. The top free most downloaded app is Angry Birds
. I like the Scrabble app because you can play with people. The second most favortied app is Cut the Rope on Android.

                                According to All access.com the most hated app is "fan mail". The most downloaded app on the Iphone is Angry Birds. The best Publication app is Reeder. The best News app is Sticher radio. The best musical app is Nano radio.

                                 According to Tech Crunch, Companies are now starting to sell devices that come with the appstore. Apple is sueing samung for copying  one of their apps. I think Apple should get all the money on apps because Apple created apps . I love apps and i think nothing can replace them. Android has the most downloaded apps in the whole wide world.
